Get in-depth with 3D technologies from motion capture to 3D printing!

Recommended for ages 9-14

Based off of the sold out success of Maker Camp 2018, our special 3D Camp will allow participants to explore the applications of 3D scanning, 3D modeling, motion capture, animation, and virtual reality. Participants will learn how to create a 3D bust scan, clean up the model, create additional 3D accessories for their model, use motion capture tools, and finally view their animated model in a VR environment.

In addition, campers will learn to master 3D printing from the mechanical structure and parts to the design, file preparation, and interface. Enhance your knowledge of 3D printers by exploring different ways of generating a 3D model, such as 3D scanning and mesh mixing existing models. Learn about FDM (Fuse Deposition Modeling) Printers and SLA (Stereolithography).
