Celebrate Earth Day 2017 with us by exploring the technology and applications of Virtual Reality headsets and experiences. Get hands-on experience with VR applications focused on Earth Science, National Parks, Ecology, and Sustainability. Together, we will brainstorm ways of using virtual reality to build a greener future for our Blue Planet.

Our special guest instructor is Claudio Lai, CEO of Fluidcast Technologies, an industry specialist in VR video production who has worked with NASA on developing VR productions.

Using Google Cardboard style VR kits, attendees will build and take home their very own VR headset. We will also learn about coding for VR, using VR apps on their smartphone, brainstorm apps suited for VR, and more. We will also give a demonstration how full-immersion virtual reality works with our HTC VIVE virtual reality headset.
