This 16-hour quick start course will teach you how to leverage the potential of MERN stack,  a scaffolding development tool.

The following will be covered –

MongoDB as a NoSQL database (with documents similar to JSON format)

ExpressJS as a server framework for building a REST API,

ReactJS as a composable components-based front-end library,

Redux as a state management solution to work in conjunction with React,

NodeJS as a server-side javascript runtime environment.

As a class project and portfolio builder, we will build a fully-featured web app, and call it Recipe Fork, which will essentially be a recipe sharing app, which will allow users to ‘fork’ other users’ recipes, and make their own modifications.

3 – Validation
4 – Routing
5 – Email integration
6 – Basic recipe posts, uploading images
7 – Liking, commenting, and forking
8 -Launching to Heroku
