Maker Summer Camp 2019 will help students build a foundation of STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) while focusing on hands-on, open-ended design projects that help hone creativity, communication, and teamwork.Each week we will use a variety of tools at our makerspace such as 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D scanners, virtual reality devices, no-solder circuits, programmable electronics, and more to achieve maximum learning and fun.

Design of Fun is a 4-day camp is designed for students 7-13 who love to play and tinker! This week we will explore what goes behind the creation of board games, video games, and toy design. Students will learn about the fundamental principles of what make a great product and walk away with their very own playable games, and toy designs.

Day 1-  Toy Design

Day 2- Board Game Creation

Day 3- Video Games

Day 4- Packaging and marketing

Student fee is $140 per week in a small classroom learning environment. Tuesday to Friday from 10a to 2p daily. Lunch is provided.
