Have you ever imagined growing an object from mushroom mycelium?  Don’t know what mushroom mycelium is?  No problem, we’ll teach you.

Mushroom Materials are high-performance, environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional plastics.  Created by combining locally sourced agricultural byproducts and mushroom mycelium (a living organism), these materials are grown using the power of nature. The Mushroom Materials then achieve a variety of performance properties, making them an innovative and sustainable medium for designers and furniture makers.

In this workshop, we will be introducing you to this eco-friendly material and forming planters made from this organic, biodegradable material for you to take home.
