Ada Lovelace Day celebrates the extraordinary contributions made by Women in the STEM Fields! We will compare the differences between the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, Hubble, and the newly launched James Webb Telescope. Taking inspiration from the amazing images of galaxies and nebulae from these telescopes, students will create their own light up LED nebulas, and earn their “Interstellar” Badge. Students are encouraged to dress up, and stick around downtown for the Museum of Art’s annual Dia De Los Muertos event and parade at 4pm.

PASOFinders is a NASA funded program at Fab Lab El Paso. It is a play on the Spanish word el paso meaning the path. A pathfinder is someone who discovers the unknown. We will engage diverse border community, highlighting the cultural heritage of El Paso, Texas and its importance as the world’s largest binational borderplex. In doing so, we hope to empower the next generation of pioneers to explore the final frontier of space. Fab Lab is designated as an official NASA Community Anchor Site.
