Join us at the El Paso Space Festival at Sunland Park to celebrate this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring contributions to astronomy, math, science, and NASA’s aerospace operations made by Hispanic and Latino Americans. We will also explore the rich history of indigenous achievements in astronomy and mathematics through exploring the Chaco Canyon Pueblo culture and the not-so-ancient Maya.

PASOFinders is a NASA funded program at Fab Lab El Paso. It is a play on the Spanish word el paso meaning the path. A pathfinder is someone who discovers the unknown. We will engage diverse border community, highlighting the cultural heritage of El Paso, Texas and its importance as the world’s largest binational borderplex. In doing so, we hope to empower the next generation of pioneers to explore the final frontier of space. Fab Lab is designated as an official NASA Community Anchor Site.
