National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is committed to landing American astronauts, including the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon under the Artemis program. Through the agency’s Artemis lunar exploration program, we will use innovative new technologies and systems to explore more of the Moon than ever before. Do you have what it takes to survive a mission to the moon? Participants will learn about the iterative Engineering Design Process through a design challenge in their quest to earn their “Inventor Badge.”

PASOFinders is a NASA funded program at Fab Lab El Paso. It is a play on the Spanish word el paso meaning the path. A pathfinder is someone who discovers the unknown. We will engage diverse border community, highlighting the cultural heritage of El Paso, Texas and its importance as the world’s largest binational borderplex. In doing so, we hope to empower the next generation of pioneers to explore the final frontier of space. Fab Lab is designated as an official NASA Community Anchor Site.
